Greg is a London-based singer, actor-musician and educator. He works in a range of fields across musical theatre, opera, a cappella groups and choirs as both a performer and director around the UK and internationally.
For a decade, Greg sang bass with the vocal ensemble Apollo5 with which he performed hundreds of concerts in many of the world’s leading concert halls and theatres, recorded critically acclaimed albums, and led education projects around the UK and abroad. He has also arranged many pieces for the group, and for its partner ensemble, VOCES8, which have been performed in concerts and workshops across the UK as well as around Europe, USA and Asia. He now works with various organisations as a performer, educator and director including Disney Theatrical Group, London Symphony Orchestra, VOCES8 Foundation, London Chamber Orchestra, British Film Institute, BBC & BBC Proms, National Youth Choir, London Contemporary Orchestra, and National Schools Singing Programme. He has sung with numerous vocal ensembles around the country including London Choral Sinfonia, Platinum Consort, Shards, Corvus Consort, Echo, Enchord, and Chamber Choir of London with which he performed in the West End musical The Seeker at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Greg is a co-director of Merryweather Theatre, a London-based arts collective with which he writes, develops and performs folk musicals for children at schools, theatres and arts festivals around the UK.
Greg studied Music at The University of Nottingham and at McGill University in Montréal, Canada. Prior to this, he trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, with the National Youth Music Theatre, and with National Youth Choir with which he has worked on the music staff as an Assistant Conductor, workshop leader, and section coach since 2011.
